So today when I was done with my class for the day, I went to see when the bus was going to come...it was going to take almost an hour, and my mom wouldn't pick me up. So I was kind of upset. Then this man came over and was just pacing/dancing and singing, I chose to ignore and keep seeing if the bus was gonna come sooner. Close to when the bus came, he started talking to me and asking how my day was, and everything, I politely answered and listened to what he had to say. He said he loves teaching gospel music to kids/teenagers and that the year before he had 2 strokes, so he was a little slower and was going to start teaching again on Saturday. It kinda surprised me when he said that his life was hard, but he wasn't gonna give up. When we were on the bus he continued talking and I listening. I'm pretty sure he said that his wife was expecting, then he was getting off and told to follow my dreams and that I would be successful.
I was amazed that though his life had been hard, he wasn't giving up, and was happy with what he had and was so nice to a complete stranger. What I loved was that, I was being grumpy, and Heavenly Father didn't want me to ruin my day because of a tiny insignificant thing, and he gave me someone who loved his life and what he was doing. Also it taught me not to judge others just because of what they look like, and that we should be happy with what we do have.
