So one of my dearest friends got engaged today! Congratulations were given, calls were made, happiness was everywhere. It was a great moment, and the ring is beautiful. I am so happy that I get to see her tomorrow, along with my other wonderful dear friends! Yay! The funny thing is, that if you asked all of us who we thought would be married first, we would have said someone else who was at least dating at the time. But that just goes to show, that you never know what will happen, or what to expect.

Am I excited for marriage? Heck yes, I am! I mean the excitement of being proposed to by a man of your most wonderful dreams, the planning, the beautiful day when you become one with your husband, the fact that you get to spend eternity with this man, and to start a family with him. All of this is something I am so excited for, and all my dreams are made of. Everything about marriage is so exciting and wonderful. Do I understand that marriage will be hard and difficult at times, yes I do, and I still love the idea of it.

What are my views of marriage? Well, it is a long lasting connection between two people who love each other dearly. It is the moment when you look at this woman or man who you love more than words can describe and stare at them with pure admiration and love. It is when one of you is angry or upset and the other not wanting to see you this way, tries and succeeds at cheering you up. It is slow dancing in the kitchen, doing ridiculous things together just because you love to see the other laugh. It is jumping in big puddles together because the other loves rain and having fun. It is so many small things that seem unimportant, become important to make marriage truly wonderful. I may not be married, or know a lot about marriage, and I don't pretend to, but to me this is what marriage is about.

Now that I am done with my marriage rant I have other fun things to talk about. Like the fact that it is raining right now, and I am filled with happiness at this moment. Or the fact that as of now I am watching the first Harry Potter film and am so excited to finish it...again. Or the other fact that I was planning on working tonight, and someone asked me if they could work for me. Today is a wonderful day my friends, I also was able to tolerate a game of soccer. It was amazing that I was able to sit through it without being bored.
