I bought a pineapple today. Why? Because I've always wanted to grow one because it would be so fun! I looked up what I have to do to take care of it, and its pretty simple: Water and wait. I do live in a place where we have winter so my pineapple is in a pot, but still easy. Also considering the fact that the nursery saved me like 2-3 years. YAY! Buying this pineapple officially started summer for me.
I also decided to name my pineapple, what is the name? Polly the Pineapple.
Another fun fact? Pineapples are my favorite fruit. I love anything pineapple or pineapple related. If there are clothes with pineapples on them, I want them. Paintings, posters, you name it. I want it all. If I go to a smoothie place or really anything food oriented and they have a Pina Colada (virgin of course) that is my go-to drink.
I also bought a rash guard and bikini top, as a birthday gift to myself. I needed a new swimsuit, and the rash guard I bought is adorable. Also something that started summer for me.
Summer is here! It is now time to pull out my families kiddie pool!
