The Cabin in Hatch

So this past week I was down in Hatch Utah with some of my family. I had no camera, no cell phone, no technology. It was so wonderful! What exactly did we do in Hatch? Well, we rode 4 wheelies, slept on the deck outside, found geodes, saw pronghorns/antelope, cotton tails, cow, snakes, lizards. The whole shebang. We also went to every viewpoint at Bryce Canyon and Got vintage-esque postcards like this:

It also rained a lot when we were there, which I absolutely loved because I love rain and thunder, especially when down at the cabin. All in all it was a well spent week.

Now to other exciting or fun stuff to talk about.

:I started reading A Short History of Nearly Everything by Bill Bryson. Shocking for me because I did not know it was a science book. If I did i might not have started reading it, but none the less I have continued to read it and have somewhat enjoyed it, another shocking observation for me. Hopefully I finish the whole 500 or something page book. Ugh, it will be tough.

I also have to register for classes, seeing as the semester starts somewhat soon. Yikes! I also have to apply for some other colleges for the next year and scholarships.

I get to go to Washington and Denver at the end of summer and I am so excited to go to somewhat cool places! I also hope to go to Great Britain next April/May! Hopefully I save up enough money.

Well, I hope all your summers fill up to your expectations!

    1. I'm so happy someone reads my blog! It's funny because I remember telling you I wasn't a bookworm when you and Davis were engaged, and I definitely will read some books for you, just tell me what. Yes, we will be visiting kenzie in august, and then we will be driving home. Washington is where the wood family reunion will be held, that would be why I will be going :)
