I created another series, because why not? Or boredom, choose your pick.
I told you I would bring you another stack of some of my favorite pieces of art, so I did. I live up to my occasional promises.
397 by Pierre Soulages

Forgive me, but I'm not entirely sure whether this piece is titled 397 or Peinture, but I wanna say it's called 397. I love this simplistic painting. I love the color and how so little says so much. Again, simplistic at heart. Even if it's just been a good 34 years, it is still impressive that it is still so vivid.
Francoise with a bow in her hair by Pablo Picasso

So sue me, but I'm not a big fan of Picasso. His style of art is just not my favorite, it's too strange for me. But this? When he sketches? Is a wonderment to me, why did he have to revolutionize and change art? In this case, I wish he stuck somewhat with the norm, not paintings, just his good ole' sketches and life could be beautiful again.

This painting. This artist. I mean seriously, there is nothing wrong with the whole thing. First, let's back up. John Singer Sargent is most likely my favorite artist, I say most likely because it is just that hard for me to decide. Again, let me repeat and say, vibrant pops of color, simplicity, I'm drawn to it, could be a disease.
Crossing Boundaries by Anila Quayyam Agha

Crossing Boundaries
Finally something other than simple! Clearly, because of all the little details to make the shadows. I imagine it took some time because learning about artists, you learn that they take soo long. But worth it if the end goal looks like this!
And now I get to take an art history this week, pray for me will you?
Have fun folks, and I hope you enjoyed!
