Discovery! So, I'm a twin. Wow, does it feel good to get that off of my chest.
Anywho, I feel like I should write a little about my thoughts on the twin life. Here it goes.
Yes, being a twin is fantastic. You have this super close relationship with your sibling, and just kinda get each other. You either brighten each others day or the opposite. You can sometimes think the same things. If one of you is being weird, the other will probably join in. Cause why the heck not? Also, you can wear matching outfits and not being judged, exhibit A ^^.
Recently, whilst visiting my twin, a friend just said something around the lines of "I don't really believe you two are twins!" Cause we are sooo different from each other. Yadda yadda, blah. Then they figured it out. Maybe we've spent so long trying to be different from each other, that we just naturally are different? Winner, winner, chicken dinner!
Yeah, we love each other, but it is nice to feel like we can be our own selves, especially because we don't look exactly alike. It just works for us.
Another example of opposites. Which has nothing to do with being a twin. I often am two words that are different. Think Simple/Complicated, Loud/Quiet, Extraverted/Introverted, etc. I identify with both. For some reason, I don't identify with just one of the options, but both. It's a struggle sometimes. My life...Crazy
Life is fun, let's just try to enjoy it. It's no fun to spend it with a bad attitude.
