Today has been a wonderful, but a tad interesting day. It rained, which we all know, I love. The thing is though, it was on and off for a little and then a torrential (not really) downpour happened. A beloved friend and I went outside and danced in the puddles, and not just any puddle, the big puddles, that when you jump you get wet all the way to your bum. At least, if you're as short as I am, you get that wet.
I loved that moment for many reasons. 1) It was raining. 2) I was jumping in the puddles with a very dear friend. 3) It was one of the most rejuvenating moments of my life. I have stressed and frustrated for so long, for multiple reasons and it was just one of the best experiences of my life. To just feel so at ease and happy and not feel guilty for feeling happy was such a relief.
It's a moment that's going down in history, one that I will remember forever and always. It will be a moment that I go to, to remember that it's all uphill from here, to remember to give yourself some slack because honestly a life lived in stress is a life I don't want to live.
Here's to those life changing moments.
