Obviously, today is Saturday. A great day indeed.
And I don't know what it is, but lately, I've been so nostalgic. Maybe it's the family reunions, maybe it's looking at old family photos, but what I do know, is that I'm not complaining.
I've also been remembering moments in this loveable red van that we used to have. Like playing boxcar children in it, or it being the first car where I was allowed to sit in the shotgun seat. It was another realm, it was what dreams were made of, it took you to your favorite places. It was simply the greatest, and I believe every kid should grow up in a family that has an old humongous van.
You know what else Saturday reminds me of? Watching Lilo & Stitch after doing chores, or infomercials, or This Old House. So obviously, my love for Lilo & Stitch is infinite, and This Old House is where my love of homes, especially old homes, stemmed from. Again, no complaints here.
In general, I've been re-remembering memories lately and it's made me so excited to have all members of my family together again. I've been craving doing a Thanksgiving dinner when my parents get back. Celebrating mine and my twin sisters birthday by going to the zoo, like we did in 1st or 2nd grade. To do backyard vacations again.
All in all, I'm having a great day, and I hope you are too! Make some memories!
