Dream On

Dreaming is my forte. I am a pro dreamer, give me a subject, and I will dream something up for you. I am talking about dreams simply for the reason that I do it a lot, and recently a dream/hope I had is to become a cook because I really am starting to love cooking ever since my 200 recipe goal. The thing is though, this dream is only a small not lasting dream, it'll pass, in fact it already is.

A couple of days ago I finished a book titled Blackberry Winter. If you haven't read it, but you've read Sarah's Key, then you've killed two birds with one stone because they are practically the same book. No need to read one when you've read the other. Things in common; a small child, present/past combined, main character is a female and journalist of some sort, both past are depressing periods, etc. 

Today I made Swig Cookie Copycats and they were fairly good, the only change I made was halving the frosting recipe, and I would not use 1 teaspoon of salt each time it says too, that makes it more salty than one would like. Salt in cookies is just not what the world needs.

I made these cookies today because winter is dragging on and my mind is already fast forwarding to spring and happy things similar to spring. Sugar Cookies are the next best thing when trying to feel sunshiny and happy. It almost worked, except every time I looked out the window.

Other wonderful/strange things currently on my mind.

• Starting a series of random thoughts. Because the title above-other strange things...
• Weird music. Music that does not resonate with my family. Such as Bears Den, Kodaline, Hudson Taylor, etc
• Even though I am so very single, I'm super excited for Valentine's Day, did I already talk about this?
• Sometimes heel's happen to hurt your feet. This should have been obvious, and it kinda was, but still. No Bueno!
• Starting an Etsy account for my mother, because she knits or crochets beautiful, and comfy things, and she would make $$$
