I may look happy, but deep down I am frustrated |
As you all know by now, I got a haircut. I love it. Its short, I feel tons more girly when it's curled, etc. And there lies the problem. I love it when Curled.
Today I was sort of taught how to curl my hair. Why sort of? My mom only showed me how to do one strand, and the easiest strand you could possibly do, though she would tell you otherwise. Any who. It was frustrating, and here I will not lie, I almost cried in frustration at the world of curling. I now know what I might have known all along. I hate curling my hair, and this is why I've been lazy for so long, that and having sisters and a mother and being the youngest, therefor being a hair guinea pig. Also begging, lots of begging.
Will I try to curl my hair again? Probably, I mean I need to master it to look best in all occasions and so that I won't be pony-tailed for the rest of my life. Will I hate it? Most Definitely. Will my Beauty board on Pinterest be deleted? Depends really. I could choose to master the art of it, or metaphorically throw it out the window, I'm debating.
Now you know why I haven't started a hair goal. And though after saying that you may all start telling me I should, I will resist you and your supposedly good ideas.
I have now learned that life is for the patient and good hearted. I'm coming to terms with that.
I also found this quote "I do maintain that if your hair is wrong, your entire life is wrong" by Steven Patrick Morrissey. Well, now I am officially depressed.

That would be so fantastic if you did, and this article made me feel a little bit better seeing as I'm not the only one who's not great at hair. So thank you!
