Depress Mode & the Whole Truth

This is to distract you from whats below

I liked changing the word Depeche to Depress, why not? Also after looking up the definition, it made sense to me, like all non-sensical things do.

Today after looking at some random persons Blog, I learned the story of his life and his wife's illness. His wife was diagnosed with a neurological disease that basically means that she has never ceasing migraines, which end up giving her stroke like attacks. While I was reading their story, which is admittedly heart-breaking, I was amazed that through everything they had been through, and will continue to go through they have an amazing attitude about it. They simply won't give up, and I'm so glad that they won't, and that they now appreciate the beauty of life more than ever before.

Their story has really helped me realize that there are people who go through things that are so much harder than what we could ever go through, and that we really need to take a step back and appreciate the life given to us and the chances we have to improve our perspective on life, and the blessings we've received. This couple have become my role model in a way, I want to have their outlook on life, and how they get through these seriously difficult times.

Now because this post has turned into an understanding depressing mood, Imma try to lighten it up a bit. I get to visit my sister Maddy tomorrow! I'm super duper excited to see her after a long absence from each other.

I'm also seriously debating going to Disneyland for an irrational amount of time for a soon to be 20 year old. Who needs to move on in life? As someone who is really not ready to grow up, it seems to be a good idea, no?

Have a lovely, exciting, non-depressing Friday night, lovlies!
