Loveliness of Summer

I love summer, and summer loves me. It's warm, makes you sleepy, schools out, friends are coming home. Summer is on it's A game.

The biggest reason? My friend is back!!! I've missed her while she was away in Hawaii, she's really the best. I haven't caught up with anyone like I have her. Talking for 3 hours? Easy peasy, could go on even longer if it weren't 10-11 at night. Talking never felt so good.

Other good reasons to enjoy summer? The days seem to stretch on forever. It stays light for as long as possible. Ice cream is more socially acceptable during this season, but who doesn't eat it in all 4 seasons? Sandals, even though I don't really have sandals. Grass, laying down in grass, etc. All things happy!

Today was the best Sunday I've had in a long time, refreshing and exciting. May, so far so good, I'm loving the heck out of ya, so stay classy! Also, who doesn't love their birthday month?
