In any case, I'll continue my book reviews now.
The Look of Love by Sara Jio: Remember how I said I wanted to write like Amanda Filipacchi? Well, now I want to write like this author. Because, it's a hopeless romantic kinda book. But Austen era, but good stuff. And I remembered that I haven't read something like this in what feels like ages. I missed it.
Jane Austen's Guide to Dating by Lauren Henderson: This book left me wanting to watch ALL of the Austen movies. Which Christmas time is kind of the perfect time to do such a thing. And no, I did not read this to actually get help with dating, it looked like a book that was meant to be humorous, and in that case you'd be disappointed.
Home by Ellen Degenerous: THIS BOOK! It was filled with beautiful images, and I was once again reminded that people live in such houses, crazy stuff right there. There were words, guys. I don't just "read" design books for that reason, I mean seriously?
Bragging Rights moment. I got a 51 out of 50 on my final! And clearly I am oh so happy! Goals were made!
I have to throw an early birthday shout-out to my dear mother! She is an amazing woman, and I have no idea how she has put up with me all of these 20 years. I know it wasn't easy, but she did it, and we still have a good relationship from it. I love her more than words could express. So Happy Birthday Mom!!
Have a fantastic, end of finals, beginning of Christmas celebrations weekend!
Mercedes
