I moved into this beautifully renovated apartment, and it is oh so clean. It's also a blank canvas for me and my roommates to make it our own, and that my friends, is a beautiful thing. Each week, something gets added and it is starting to feel more and more liveable and comfortable; the softest blankets, the soft subtle scent of vanilla.
Not only all of that goodness and jazz, but my roommates! They are angels from above, I seriously love em. Our apartment is filled with the music of Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Tony Bennett and more, and it is such a joy! We also have the most amazing food to fill this apartment, with the best company and conversation!
I can't tell you how refreshing these past few weeks have been, such a relief has been lifted off of my shoulders, I could cry tears of joy. I'm so content with how things are going, and can't help but feel it will only get better this upcoming year. I survived the hard stuff, and now I'm stronger and prepared for what will come next!
I hope these few months we have left of 2016 will be what you need them to be, full of joy and happiness, because that's what everyone deserves in their lives.
P.S. I also learned how to do some simple braids, so that's how I know my life is going good places!!
