Feminist Jokes & Loads of Tomatoes
Oh Moab, you incredible landscape you. I'm so glad that I've finally seen you in all your glory, even if it took me just about 22 years.
So what happened on this beautiful adventure? I went with a group of friends from Friday to Sunday. It was a weekend of jokes, puns, sugary food, somewhat healthier food, and memories made. I won't ever forget this trip with the wonderful people who came with. And even though my body aches from literal head to toe, I wouldn't change anything. Because the pain is a testament to the adventures and memories.
I am becoming a firm believer in road trips, in the sense that I believe they are good for your soul. You go on a trip with some family or friends, new or old. It's a break from the daily routine, you are all going to see and experience something beautiful. You learn more about yourself and what you truly care about. I at least come to be reminded to not take this world for granted, and am always reminded of just how beautiful this planet called Earth is.
I'm most grateful that I've been able to spend Earth Day on road-trips to National Parks for the last two years, and I hope I can make it a tradition. Because there is nothing more special than celebrating Earth Day in these beautiful parks, and experiencing them in all their glory.
So go on road-trips, eat your weight in sugar, make jokes, laugh out loud, and appreciate all that you have.
