Cultivating Happiness

Be Gentle With Yourself. You're Doing the Best You Can.
Thank you all so much for the love you gave me after the last post, you guys are the best!

I've wanted to post sooner after that, but I didn't really know how to go about it. Especially since I talked about how I was doing better, and suddenly, I felt kinda terrible after, because certain things weren't going my way. And I was frustrated that I was feeling down in the dumps yet again. But I discovered that that's just how life works. You have your highs and lows, and you just gotta keep on cruising, and being totally and completely yourself.

So that's what I'm trying to do, be unattainably me, and take the highs and lows in stride, and learn from them because they'll always have something to teach me.

Let us all strive to cultivate happiness, whatever that entails for each of us. Whether it's drinking hot cocoa and watching the rain/leaves/snow fall or talking to your closest and best-est friend or just taking a little you time. Cultivate it, hug it, become best friends with it (happiness). And when you're feeling a little blue, talk to your bestie, or watch a movie that will release the waterworks and then take a nap, because those are the best naps of your life. Trust me, I'm quite experienced.

And remember, you're doing the best you can, so don't be too hard on yourself.
