There are some things you learn about yourself once you're in the midst of adulthood. Like what truly tempts you to spend money; aka food. Who you truly want to keep in your life. And finally, your go-to snack when you end up watching a chick-flick t.v. show; aka cheese and chocolate. If I drank wine, I could maybe pass off as being French.
I guess the biggest discovery is that you'll continue discovering, evolving, and finding new treats to turn to in your time of need.
I mean, I never could have guessed that I'd learn to curl my hair, or somewhat decently braid. That I'd find new friends that feel as if we've known each other all our lives. That I'd not only want to go to college but graduate. Life is full of surprises, so much so, that we really shouldn't be surprised at all.
I don't really know why I've begun to start writing in such an advice-y way, but I believe that if not for you, then for me.
