I also obviously changed the look of the blog, with the help of my sister who knows a lot about design and such. She helped me achieve my goal of my blog looking like a nice photography blog.
Now in other news Christmas came and went! It was wonderfully fantastic, as you might expect Christmas to be. For those of you who haven't heard yet, and might care to know. I had a grand mal seizure on the 23rd, it happened at work and I just went home and rested. I am all right, besides a little embarrassed. I am glad that I had my family around me, and that they are all such strong people. Strong emotionally, they've each been so good to me and I can really see that they all love me, and don't want these things to happen, but they understand that they do. That the maybe the best thing is to just be there and keep being their awesome, hilarious personalities to keep things nice and happy. I also found now more than ever, that the people I work with are also pretty amazing. Going back to work next week will be an adventure on its own.
On a whole other note, it's almost New Year's Eve, which means the time to create your resolutions. Granted I've never been one to make and more importantly keep the resolutions, but this year I will somewhat change that. This past year I had the goal to read some books I haven't read and cook some recipes I haven't made, I never had a time limit, which made the goals work. I will continue to do those two goals. I have about 70 more books to read and about 170 more recipes to continue.
Some recipes I made over the week include:
Crispy Baked Parmesan Green Bean Fries
Herb and Citrus Oven Roasted Chicken
Chocolate Raspberry Cake
All were delicious, and fairly easy to make, they may look complex, but all in all they are SUPER easy. Other changes I made to the blog would be that I when I post a recipe that is found from the internet I just use the link, and you can find the recipe that way.
I hope you all had a great holiday week, and I love you all
Mercedes
