Art For Thought

So, I haven't done one of these in ages, for which I apologize. Today's the day though, that y'all see more of the art that I love. Congrats!

Running Fence by Christo & Jeanne-Claude
Running Fence
I love this, and I love Christo and Jeanne-Claude's style of art. So immensely unique and eye catching, it really does grab at your attention whether you like it or not. Can we also talk about this specific picture of the Running Fence? Because it really adds to their piece. Side note: I couldn't find the original website where this specific image is from, so I'm just gonna credit the Christo and Jeanne-Claude website. Mmmkay?

Bernadette Marie Sketch

So I couldn't find a title. But man, do I love this sketch! It is so simple, so pretty, and somehow I've come to realize I like watercolors of lips. Weird I know, sue me.

Yellow, Cherry, Orange by Mark Rothko
Yellow, Cherry, Orange
Oh Rothko, you little devil you, creating these beautifully simple masterpieces, that somehow, most everyone does not like. I'll appreciate your art though, don't you doubt that. This might be my all time favorite, but who knows.

F*** You Pablo
F*** You Pablo
I'm sorry about the title, I had no idea I swear. I also thought this was by Pablo Picasso, but alas I was wrong. But dang, this is pretty great isn't it? Or all you still hung up about the title like me?

Mrs. Richard Brinsley Sheridan by Thomas Gainsborough
Mrs. Richard Brinsley Sheridan

This painting is so simply beautiful. Close enough to Rococo, but not quite, which might just be the reason I love it. Because lets face it, no one likes rococo.

That is all the art I have for you today, thank you for taking the time to read this post. I love you all the more for it.
